From March 25th to 27th, The Annual W&DW Congress will be held in the city of Moscow, Russian Federation. This International Counsel of Dramatic, Literary and Audiovisual Works is carried out with the objective of strengthening the concept of authors’ rights within the region.
On the 15th and 16th of this month, the annual W&DW congress took place in the amazing city of Venice, without a doubt it was an unprecedented summit of creators.
Writers & Directors Worldwide, the council dedicated to fighting for audiovisual authors’ rights, has elected Argentinean film director and screenwriter, Horacio Maldonado, as its new president.

The Annual Writers & Directors Worldwide Congress was held in September in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. It took place on the 28th, 29th and 30th of September and a large number of authors from all over the world participated in the event.

The International Creators Congress of the International Confederation of Societies of Authors and Composers, CISAC – WRITERS & DIRECTORS WORLDWIDE was held in Beijing during the 5th and 6th of November.
