Audiovisual Creators from around Asia-Pacific, gathered last October 8, in the city of Busan, South Korea, in the framework of the Busan International Film Festival, for the official launch of the Alliance of Asia-Pacific Audiovisual Writers and Directors (AAPA).
The members of playwrights, literary and audiovisual societies from the entire world, which form the council of creators of W&DW, will gather in the headquarters of the Italian Management Society SIAE.
Within the frame of the Executive Council meeting, gathered in Tokyo, the authors member of W&DW and its alliances ADAL and APASER, visited the offices of the Directors ´Guild of Japan (DGJ)
Reunited in Tokyo, and within the frame of their Executive Council annual meeting, W&DW promotes the rights of Authors, Directors and Screenwriters through the constitution of a new Asia – Pacific Alliance, adding on to the already created and successful ADAL for Latin America, and APASER for Africa.
Within the frame of the Executive Committee meeting, W&DW will meet with DGJ – Directors Guild of Japan with the support of the Japanese Society of Authors, Composers and Editors ´Rights – JASRAC – and FESAAL – Federation of Latin American Audiovisual Authors Societies.
In the framework of the W&DW Annual Congress, celebrated in the city of Moscow, FESAAL signed a collaboration and cooperation Memorandum of Understanding with W&DW y APASER
